I picked the ratio chart. For this chart each kid gets 3/4 of a sub, for the first one is easy because theres only one person so you only get 3/4 od a sub. for the next one there is 2 people. to know how much sub you need to feed 2 people you have to add 3/4 to 3/4. for adding fractions, you only add the numerator. so 3/4 + 3/4 = 6/4. Now 6/4 is an improper fraction. to make that into a mixed fraction you have to divide 4 into 6. 4 into 6 means 4 divided by 6. if you divide 4 into 6 the quotient is 1.50. and 1.50 is also 1 1/2 as a fraction because 0.50 is 1/2 and 1.0 is 1. you keep adding 3/4 to the fraction before and dividing the numerator into the denomenator to get the decimal, then converting the decimal into fractions. converting the decimal into a fraction is easy because there is only 4 pieces in the sub. so its either 0.25, 0.50, 0.75.

I chose slide #5. The chart. For one person, they get 3/4 of a sub. Now, for 2 people, you just have to add 3/4 to 3/4. So that equals 6/4. 6/4 is an improper fraction. We can also turn it into a mixed fraction. How many times can 4 go into 6 evenly. Only once. so that's going to be the whole number in the mixed fraction. What's left is going to be the fraction. So, there's 2 left. 2 is half of 4 so the 2 is going to be 1/2. So now, the whole fraction is 1 1/2. To keep going, all you have to do is add 3/4 everytime there is another person being added to the group.

I picked slide 5. Each kid in this chart gets 3/4 of a sub. With fractions you only add the numeraetors no the denominators so 2 kids would get 1 1/2 subs
3 kids would get 2 1/4 subs because 1 1/2(6/4) + 3/4 is 9/4 wich in a mixed fraction is 2 1/2 so the pattern for this is just add 3/4 each time the amount of kids go up.
