Jordan's pythagoras Growing Post

A Pythagorean triple is a right triangle that uses a set of numbers ( 1, 2, 3, etc) that satisfy
a2 + b2 = c2

This is a Pythagorean triple looks like. Each leg label a and b the hypotenuse is always label c.
You can label any number you want but not decimal. you can use the numbers in the perfect square chart

Example:

part 3: worksheet B
You've just picked up a ground ball at first base, and you see the other team's player runnig towards thrid base. How far do you have to throw the ball to get it from first base to thrid base, and runner out?
first, I drew the whole stadium and i know that you have to threw the ball from first base to thrid base so i drew a line and i take 1 part of the whole stadium that how i started. I wrote the Pythagorean theorem and then, i replaced the a squared and b squared to 90 because the legs are 90 squared. second, I solve the exponent numbers and then I add the answer to get 16200. third, i have to find the square root of 16200 in fraction and decimal form. for the fraction i use the chart to find it, i know that 127 is between 11 and 12 so my whole number is 11, to find the numerator i count how much needed to be 127, to find the denominator i add the bottom in the perfect square.

Part 4:

A crew ship is going to travel from north island of New zealand to the south island of the country. 10000 km long the ship will travel 3333 kms in 100 km below sea level. when the ship pass that section, the ship will start travelling to a 2000 kms long in a water in a decreasing distance of the slope below sea level until it stop at 5000 km below sea level. how long is the distance of the slope from 100 m below sea level to the 5000 km below sea level ?
