Ivanne's Scribe Post

CIRCUMFERENCE OF A CIRCLE...

Circumference (C) is the distance around the outer ring.
C = Pi x d or Pi2r/2Pir

Pi is a constant and is approximately equal to 3.14.

Example

Radius (r) is the distance from the center to the outer ring...

The diameter (d) of circle is twice the length of the radius...
D = 2 x r or 2r

Example

AREA OF A CIRCLE...
Area = Pi x r²
Pi = 3.14
Radius is the distance/length from the center to the outer ring...
